More turkeys

The white turkey was really quite friendly. She sat down and let us pet her... consequently I now want a pet turkey! Curtis figures it is a self defense technique. You can't eat her if she is cute and cuddly!

Max and his ice cream

He sure does enjoy it! He just needs to learn to stop once he hits styrofoam! Haha!

Talking Turkey with Cousins

Last week was our spring break and we had a fun visit with cousins Toby, Melissa, Garrett and Vivian. The kids kept each other well entertained which was nice since all of our usual weekly activities were cancelled. We spent one day out at Homestead Heritage farm having lunch, dessert and walking around.
Playing in the rocks with Vivi.

"Show me your cute face Max!"

That is one BIG turkey!

Mmmmm... Strawbelly ice cream.

Max's Garage Band

Ok, so maybe this was the middle of the living room instead of the garage. He is still currently looking for a few additional members to round out their sound. We will also be holding auditions for a new drummer in June after his current drummer and best friend is moving home to the Netherlands. Sigh! We will miss Jasmijn... Anne and Victor too.

"I hit the Max!"

Goofball!

New house

Hi everyone,
I wanted to post a few pictures of our "new" house. Max talks about the new house a lot and all of the things we get to do when we move into the new house. Most of the pictures are of the outside, which let's face it, we bought it for the land. However I didn't get a lot of interior shots because the current owners are packing up so there were just boxes everywhere. Once they clear out and we close I will take a bunch more. But the best way to see our new house would be to COME VISIT. It was 80 degrees here today... practically paradise!

Front of house. The house is set back off the road so there is plenty of room for trees... and grass. Lots of grass. Anyone have a riding lawnmower they aren't using?
The completely outdated kitchen. Don't get married to this image because it will look completely different once we are done with our renovations. We are trying to preserve the wallpaper though... Ha!
View from the back patio. The yard slopes down to a small seasonal creek. No fence yet. We will be installing on soon though.

Back patio. There is also a deck and a small greenhouse behind the main house.

Finally, Max spreading seeds all over the new yard! The neighbors don't keep their yard very nice so this is a losing battle with the dandelions either way.

Agilaylors

Also from the Daddy-Max trip to the zoo. Max doesn't seem the least bit afraid here. Hmmmm. Takes after his mommy much?
