Boing! Boing!

Curtis finally put together Max's trampoline which was meant to be for Christmas but we just didn't have space to put it up. But we made room and boy does he like it!! He has always loved jumping so I'm glad we bought this for him. It will be a good way to burn off a lot of toddler energy!!

Welcome to 2012!!!

A quick side note here... I have been trying to upload videos to the blog for a couple of weeks now. I thought it was a problem with my computer but I think it was because the videos were from Curt's new iPhone. These should work. Sorry for the long pause!

Here's to a new year and the exit of a bad, bad 2011... Finally! I am sorry the posts have been light of late. I have so much to post but the memory on my computer is almost full so I have to delete a bunch of stuff in order to download new pics and videos. I am planning to upgrade the memory on my computer soon so hopefully I will be able to be more prolific in the near future.

So Max had a very musical Christmas. I picked out a couple of videos to share with you of Max playing his drums and "geetar". He loves for Curtis and I to play along with him and we all switch off on the different instruments, but don't look for us to form a family band any time soon! We also sing a lot of songs including "Happy do do do you" (Happy Birthday), "Jingle Bells" and "Baby It's Cold Outside". The singing is very difficult to capture on film, but we will keep trying because it is precious and I want to have a record of it.

Swimming at Christmas!

Not to many little boys were lucky enough to get to swim all through Christmas break! We were very fortunate to get to spend this time with my family in Florida. It has been a hard year for all of us so a vacation away was just what we all needed. It was amazing to see how many families there were in Florida. I guess it is very normal for some people to spend the holidays away from home and it was what we needed this year, but I'm not sure I want this to become our tradition. Max loved swimming in the pool although he refused to wear any sort of life jacket or safety device. Must be that stubborn two streak he found a few weeks back!

Jump to Daddy! He loved this game! Curtis liked it up until his arms were so tired that he thought they would fall off.
MOOSE!

Christmas in Florida 2011

Unconventional, but spending the holiday at the beach was just what we needed this year!
Mama and Max looking at a shell he picked up.
Curt and Papa waiting for the sun to go down.
Bo and Max digging in the sand. That and swimming were Max's favorite activities.
Picking flowers for Mama!
Just another beautiful sunset!
