Sweet Boy

Hi everyone,
I had a super cute video to share wit all of you. Max has been loving his jump-a-roo lately... maybe too much? Heehee.

The cereal is going a little better. Tonight I think he may have actually swallowed some! Whoopee! He is still not willing to sleep in his crib for even part of the night or naps. I would really love it if he would so I could have time to work on my school obligations. The semester is winding down quick and it is crunch time!!

Post 4 Month Visit

Hi everyone.

I forgot to include Max's updated weight and length in the previous post. He is 17.5 lbs and 26+ inches. We tried some cereal tonight for the first time. It didn't go over incredibly well (as you will see in the video). Last time Max ran a low grade fever and vomited after his immunizations. This time he did really good, no fever, no vomit. He felt so good that he bounced for a long time in his jump-a-roo. I'm proud of my boy!

4 Month Wellness Check

I think they should rethink the term "wellness check". Babies go in happy and well enough... grrr. So that happened this morning. The good news is that Max is growing incredibly well in all areas. He is in the 90% for height and weight and 50% for head size. His height to weight proportion is at 50% so he is perfectly proportioned albeit large! We have recently gone through his clothes and purged out more little things and washed all of the 9 month clothing, which he is wearing now. We think he is going to be tall like me!

Then the not so pleasant part came... the dreaded shots. Only four this time, but that didn't seem to be of any comfort to Max. He screamed all through getting the shots and it took him a few minutes to calm down after they were done. However, he fell asleep in the car on the way home and is currently sleeping it off in his swing. Poor baby.

On a happier note, we get to start cereal today! Max's doctor said to try cereal out for two weeks then we can move on to "real" food such as fruits and veggies. We have already bought his high chair, bowls and spoons... so bring it on!

The high chair came with some pretty fun attachments.

"You mean I get to eat in this thing too?!?"

Easter Pictures

Sorry, no time for an update. I have put off work while the family has been here and have to play some MAJOR catch-up in the next two days. Here are some Easter pictures to tide you over.

Giggles from Max!

I was making spaghetti for dinner and Curtis and Max were observing. Something about chopping the onions really tickled Maxwell.
